Dr. Maria Colbert was born and raised in St. John’s, NL. As a little girl, she spent her time playing sports and dancing. An active childhood, led her to an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Memorial University where she graduated in 2019. A passion for helping others developed and she decided to continue her education and pursue a career in chiropractic. She completed her Doctor of Chiropractic at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and graduated Summa cum laude in 2023. After completing her chiropractic education, she returned home to help the people of her home province. Her chiropractic treatments offer a patient-centred approach that incorporates diversified chiropractic techniques including manual flexion-distraction, joint mobilizations, soft tissue therapy (including instrument assisted soft tissue therapy), at-home management strategies and exercises, and spinal manipulation. Dr. Colbert is passionate about helping others and is always eager to help her patients towards a pain-free life.

Hannah graduated from Academy Canada with a Diploma (Honours) in Health and Human Sciences in 2020. She has a keen interest in the management of chronic pain conditions, prescription of therapeutic exercise, and the inclusion of mental health management as part of one’s overall well-being. She firmly believes in empowering patients to help equip them with the proper tools to optimize their health and wellness! Hannah hails from beautiful Prince Edward Island, but we’re delighted she has decided to make St. John’s her new home.
